Below are our check-in and check-out procedures, along with general information and rules. Please take the time to read and contact us if you have any questions or special requests.
CHECK IN TIME is 4:00 pm. Our Office is located at 221 Canyon Blvd, Mammoth Lakes CA 93546. We close at 10:00 pm. Please call (760)934-2884 for an after-hours check-in procedure.
CHECK OUT TIME is 10:00 am . Depending on availability, early and late check-in/outs can be accommodated. Call us for more information on the day of arrival and/or the day before departure.
LATE CHECK-IN POLICY: Our office, located at 221 Canyon Blvd Mammoth Lakes Ca 93546, closes at 10:00 pm daily, however, we do have an emergency ONSITE MANAGER 24/7 for emergency service. Should you plan on arriving after hours (10 PM) simply call or email our office before 9:00 pm for instructions. 760.934.2884. Info@MammothEstates.com. CANCELLATION POLICY: Your deposit will be forfeited if you can not offer a 1 weeks’ notice prior to check-in date for non-holiday rentals and 3 weeks’ notice prior to check-in date for holiday rentals. All deposits are subject to a $45 cancellation fee. If your cancellation cannot be made in a timely manner, as stated, you could be subject to paying for the entire reservation if we cannot rebook your cancelled property. Your credit card on file will be charged.
TAX: Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT 13%) and Tourism Assessment (TBID 1%) tax is applied.
ADVANCE DEPOSIT: A deposit of one or two nights rent is due upon booking. Final payment is due on your arrival date at check-in. If you are unable to stop by the office to settle your balance before departure, we will charge the credit card used to reserve your reservation.
OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy, including children, is stated on all confirmations. We reserve the right to spot check vacation rentals for a number of occupants and unauthorized pets.
SMOKING AND PET POLICY: Mammoth Estates Rentals is 100% NON-SMOKING inside all properties in addition to the common area balconies and entries. This includes e-cigarettes and all other substances. You will be charged $500.00 (five hundred dollars) for any violations. PETS are permitted in specified Properties. A $20.00 Pet Fee, per night, per Pet will apply and you will be required to complete and execute our “Pet Policy” prior to your check-in date. No pets allowed in common area pool/spa/recreation room/office.
POSSIBLE CHANGES: We reserve the right to move you to a comparable rental property if necessary, at no additional expense to you.
CLEANING POLICY: All of our properties are prepared by our housekeeping service prior to your arrival. Daily maid service is not available. Properties are prepared with linens, paper products, shampoo, lotion, and soap. Additional supplies are available to you at our Office during your stay. With each Reservation, you will be charged a modest Departure Cleaning Fee depending on the size of the property. We reserve the right to assess additional cleaning and/or damage fees if necessary. Our expectations are minor; we expect the trash to be taken to our dumpster, dishes washed and all furnishings to be in their proper place. The credit card used to secure your reservation will be charged and you will be notified by email with digital pictures.
RESTRICTIONS: You must be 21 years of age or older to reserve your accommodations and 21 years of age or older to check-in or out. No exceptions.
HOURS OF OPERATION: The common area recreation room/spa/sauna/pool/laundry/changing facilities are open daily from 8AM-10PM. Glass is not allowed in swimming areas. 10:00 pm is considered quiet time.
WIFI is complimentary. Network name and password will be provided at check-in. Please note: we do our best to offer you high-speed internet, however, be advised that we do not offer discounts for inadequate internet service. Suddenlink is our provider. If Suddenlink advises us that you illegally downloaded during your stay, you could be responsible for a $250.00 fine.
PARKING PERMITS AND KEYS: There will be a $25.00 service fee for lost parking permits and keys. Drop keys and permits into the drop box located on the office front porch or leave them in your property upon departure. Please, DO NOT forget to lock the door on your way out and dispose of your trash. Be BEAR AWARE! Seriously!
